INTRO

In GOOD FAITH, you have tried to improve in this GAME OF A LIFETIME

You love this game, and hate this game, depending on the next swing!

You have taken lessons, usually by more than 1 professional

You have hit balls 2x a week

You have searched online and tried the “NEXT SECRET MOVE”

Sometimes you believe it has helped, at least for a short period of time

It didn’t last – IT NEVER DOES!

WHY?

Because you lack any REAL PURPOSE or UNDERSTANDING behind what the professional tries to get you to do

Because you lack a CLEAR PLAN on how to achieve what you HOPE to achieve

Because you have probably never WRITTEN DOWN specific goals or developed a ROADMAP and TIMELINE to accomplish those goals

MY STORY

I began to caddie at Bellerive Country Club when I was 13 years old. Bellerive has hosted both the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open in the past. Had the privilege to play at that magnificent golf course every Monday during “Caddy Day” and soon became fairly good for a junior. Played from the men’s tees (6800 yds.) because I wasn’t smart enough to play from a better suited set of tees. Scored in the low 40’s, occasionally breaking 40. Public courses usually came in around the mid 70’s. I wasn’t great but showed I had at least some natural talent. I never had a golf lesson. One year, I was presented with the opportunity to play free golf when a golf professional I caddied for in some local events gave me a few free passes to his public golf course. You can bet I was going to take advantage of that great gift. I was at that golf course one day, when I saw a man picking up what looked like a million golf balls on the driving range. He used a small basket at the end of a golf shaft; maybe you remember what that looked like? Being a fairly good kid, I offered to help him pick up balls. He thanked me. Turns out he was another golf professional. He asked me if I would like to HIT FREE RANGE BALLS and have FREE GOLF LESSONS in exchange for helping him to pick the range on occasion.

YOU BET I DID! What a great opportunity! Suddenly, here I was. I had some natural playing ability, and now had free access to golf, practice and lessons. It was a dream come true for me. Started out well. I put that man up on a pedestal. For over a year, I faithfully listened to and attempted to apply the wisdom he was attempting to teach me. But I was the MOST FRUSTRATED PERSON who ever held a golf club!

WHY? It was because he was teaching me every fundamental in the book but drilled it into me over and over and over again. We would work inside on these “MOVES” or POSITIONS at least 3 hours for every one hour on the range.

When I finally got to hit balls, I could NEVER PROPERLY GET BACK SQUARE TO THE BALL!

IT WAS A DISASTER! After more than a year of constant frustration, I REBELLED. I decided that there was NO WAY people could improve when they had to work that hard. This is when I developed the philosophy of the SIMPLE MIND THEORY OF GOLF INSTRUCTION. It was basically the EXACT OPPOSITE of everything this fantastic golf professional was attempting to teach me.

In fact, I am the ONLY TEACHER you will ever have, past, present or future that tells you up front that the only goal you will ever have is “DON’T THINK”!

If you are READY to begin a journey where you BUILD a swing instead of PERFORM complex moves with MULTIPLE THOUGHTS, see if you have what it takes to get INVITED TO PARTICIPATE.

That is my story. Brian Stitch Class “A” PGA Professional since 1983
